Sweet Orange Essential Oil



Oranges (Citrus Sinensis) is a daily fruit that most households in Australia would be no stranger to. It produces highly nutritious fruit with aromatic peel (rind). The peel is often disposed when the fruit is consumed. However, orange rinds can provide a huge number of benefits in the form of essential oil.

Using a method called cold pressing, the rind of the sweet orange is pressurised. The oil within the peels is then extracted and concentrated. Researches have shown that the Sweet Orange Essential Oil have health benefits when used in different ways.


  • It can lift moods and reduce stresses
  • It has anti-inflammation properties and can be used to treat acne
  • It can be used to relieve stomach upset
  • It can be used as a natural antiseptic

How to use


Six to eight drops of Tea tree essential oil can be added to a diffuser.


Few inhalations direct from the bottle has the effect of reducingstress and anxiety

Recent research also found inhalation of Sweet Orange Essential Oil can also improve lung function


Add at least five drops of Tea tree essential oil in a dispersant such as oil, to nourish the skin.

Topical Application

Mix a few drops of Sweet Orange Essential Oil mixed with a carrier oil can be applied to joints and neck to help relieve pain and inflammation


Add approximately 10 drops of the Sweet Orange Essential Oil to 30ml of water in a glass bottle. Mix well by shaking the bottle.
