Pogostemon cablin has a rich, earthy, woody and musky scent. Patchouli belongs to the mint family and is a bushy herb, and it bears pink and white flowers with stems reaching two or three feet in height. Patchouli is widely used in the perfume industry as well as in the scented products like air fresheners and detergents.
