This essential oil has both cooling and heating effect, which makes it an excellent analgesic remedy for tired and aching muscles. Peppermint oil is helpful for migraines, a lymphatic stimulant and can assist in sinus relief.
This plant initially was grown in India, and for centuries has been used for its revitalizing properties. The Peppermint essential oil is extracted through steam distillation process from the leaves of the mint plant. The Peppermint essential oil has a minty, refreshing and fresh smell which soothes and enlightens the soul.
Use six to eight drops of Peppermint oil to carrier oil.
Add two drops of Peppermint essential oil in a dispersant.
Add two drops of Peppermint essential oil in a bowl of water. Consider using hot water, if there are aches and tight muscles. The water can be cold if there are signs of inflammation.
For respiratory treatment, add one drop of Peppermint essential oil to a bowl of hot steaming water. Caution, if there are any risks or burns on the face, do not use this treatment.
